Easily worked, safe, low-cost underroofing
Product characteristics and field of application
Masonite Roof sarking is a simple, low-cost way of creating tight roofs. The product has type approval for concrete roofing tiles, the heaviest type of roof covering, and of course for lighter materials as well. Masonite Roof sarking is nailed directly to the rafters. The outer roof covering is then installed on battens nailed across the sarking sheets.
With this method the roof is quickly covered, giving a tight, strong result. Roofers use the battens to stand on, the sarking is strong enough to take their weight if they step in the wrong place. The strength easily meets the requirements of the Swedish board of Industrial Safety and Health.
Approved as HFH 100 according to DIN (Z - 9.1 - 122).
